BEA 2012!

I’m going to be a bit quiet this week–partly because I’m still catching up after having been away, but mostly because… I’m going to be at Book Expo America!! WOOOO! I’m so psyched about going. It’s my first time, and I have a list about a mile long of authors I want to stalk track down.

If you’re going to be in New York this week, and if you’re planning on going to BEA, be sure to look me up! I’ll be there Wednesday and Thursday (June 6-7). Here’s a list of my scheduled events, so you can track me down.

Tuesday, June 5

10:00-10:50 AM – I won’t actually be AT this one, but my editor, Andrew Karre, will be talking about SKYLARK at the BEA Young Adult Editors’ Buzz Panel. Come hear what he has to say!

Wednesday, June 6

12:30-1:00 PM – Meet BEA Middle Grade & Young Adult Authors Buzz Panel. Come meet me and the other authors on the “buzz” list this year! I’ll be there along with Ashley Edward Miller, Zack Stentz, Donna Cooper, Gennifer Albin, Kat Zhang, and Marissa Moss.

2:00-2:14 PM – SKYLARK Podcast interview at BEA Podcast Booth.

Thursday, June 7

8:00-9:30 AM – Blogger Breakfast with Merry Sisters of Fate (Maggie Stiefvater, Brenna Yovanoff, and Tessa Gratton) and Meagan Spooner. This is a private event with selected bloggers, but whenever they end up posting about it, I’ll be sure to link you guys!

12:00-1:00 PM – Signing FREE advance reader copies of SKYLARK at the Lerner Publishing Booth, which is #2357. I’ll be signing along with Maggie Stiefvater, Brenna Yovanoff, and Tessa Gratton, who are giving away copies of their awesome short story anthology THE CURIOSITIES. So be sure to come by!

 

You can also feel free to just wander up and say hi if you happen to recognize me! I’m also going unofficially to a bunch of other panels and author signings, as a fan, so you may see me at one of those. Hope to see you there!

    Hi Meg!!! SO great to see you back from Africa – and I love this post! I’m thrilled you got to be featured at BEA! I got to watch the video of the panel, too! You’re so cute and lovely!!! I also got to hear Andrew Karre talk about SKYLARK and WOW, how thrilling to hear his thoughts about your story and his love. What a treat! What a gift!

    So, girl, blog about the week and post more pictures! And post about Africa! (P.S. I sent you an email while you were gone . . . no pressure to respond, I KNOW life is insane, just wanted you not to miss it with 10,000 emails in your Inbox.)
